The International Institute for Information Design (IIID) is pleased to see that both the European Commission and the European Medicines Agency want to include ‘principles of good information design’ into the Guidelines and the QRD-template to make sure that package leaflets ‘better meet the needs of patients and healthcare professionals’.
This website describes some of the ‘principles of good information design’.
An analysis of the Legislation, the Guidelines, and the QRD-Template, in combination with an application of the principles of good information design, leads to a design approach.
The recommendations provide a list of initial actions that would apply the principles of good information design to the development of information about medicines for patients.
